Book Review 14 'The Little Prinsess'

A young girl, her name is Sara came to a new her school in England. Captain Crewe is her dad. She has to go new school because his dad goes to war. She used to lives in India with her dad. Her mother dead when she was still little. She loves her dad, so she is so sad to he has to go war. Her teacher Miss Minchin is very mean person. And she is a principal. There are all girls in school and they are rich as a princess. First she comes, other students don't like her because she tells all things her thinks. But they become like her after. One day she made up stories of Kings and Queens and beautiful princesses. And she talked to them the story. They were very interested in her story. She always thinks 'all girls are princess'. Miss Minchin didn't like her because she has pure heart. She is jealous at her. Becky, she is the scullery mail. She doesn't have clean clothes. One day she has slept in Sara's room. And Sara saw her. Then Becky woke up, and she stuttered. She thought Sara is angry. But Sara was not angry. She gave some cake to Becky. Becky was so happy. She never is being kind to her. And they became friend. On her birthday, she got a lot of present. The tea time, she called Becky for join to them. But Miss Minchin didn't allow. She is so mean. After this party, she was called from Miss Minchin. She told Sara that her father dead. She was so sad and she had to wear black clothes as the scullery maid. She doesn't have a penny. Her room was changed. Her new room is attic with Becky. Then she was sent on errand. She couldn't talk with her friends. Miss Minchin more mean to her. But Sara didn't care about her. She is still doing well even she doesn't have dad no more. But in fact, she wanted to cry. One day, Mr. Carrisford moved in next to school. When she was looking outside from her room window, he was holding his little monkey and he was looking outside. They talked from behind the window. To tell the truth, he was a friend with her dad. And he was looking for her long time. Final, he took back her from school, and she becomes happy again. Her friends are sad. They love her. And Becky lives with them. This story make me happy. She is a very strong girl and pretty. It was good story.

Book Review 13 'A new house for Mole and Mouse'

I read ‘A new House for Mole and Mouse’. There are Mole and Mouse. They get a new house and they are checking things what in house. There are a piano, washtub, mixer, bathtub, watch and bed. And everything fine for them. But they want to check one more thing is doorbell. They wait long time for someone come and suddenly ring the bell. Mouse opens the door, and then there is someone. Someone give they balloons and Mouse gets that. But balloons and Mouse floats to ceiling. So Mole stabs balloons with an umbrella. They are careless.

Book review 12 'The Phantom of the Opera'

I read 'The Phantom of the Opera'. this story was about man and woman's story.

Long time ago in Paris, there is a famous and beautiful building and there was 'Opera House'. In Opera House had show every day. But there was a ugly men who was called Phantom. He has a yellow face, he has no nose, he has black holes for eyes. He is always alone. He lives underground room by his self. And he likes incident.

A woman Christine is actress in opera house. She were taught by mystery teacher 'angel of music'. Then she becomes prima donna of Opera. The mystery teacher, he was always wearing mask on his face. She asked to him that why he doesn't show him face. He doesn't like that question. One day, suddenly, she takes over the mask from his face and she was shocked his ugly face.

Then she left from him. He raises incident on opera stage because of her. He killed many people in crazy way. Everyone was scary him.

Christine met men Raoul. Raoul give her a try. And she becomes like him.
But still his voice was beautiful. When he call her with his songs, she obsess by his voice. One day She was monopolized by him to underground his place. Then she knew his lonely heart. Raoul came to his place for help her.

Book Review 11 'The Last Photo'

Today, I read ‘The Last Photo’. Martin and his sister Pam were in Cambridge and they were taking picture. Pam likes taking picture and when she was taking last photo of her brother, somebody walk across him. A man was humping a big black rucksack and yellow camping tent. When they were going to home, they saw the man again. He was at bus stop to Aberdeen where is in Scotland. Three days after, she developed films and she was checking it, then there was a picture of that man. Martin was reading article about a bank robber. And he saw that picture and he suspected the man who was in this picture and the culprit of robber was same person. Then, they went to the police and they showed that picture to police. And they told police that he was going to go to Aberdeen. They thought he was camping near Aberdeen. The policeman telephoned the police station in Aberdeen. Then the police in Aberdeen found him in a tent in the mountains near Aberdeen. Next day, Pam and Martin’s story was in all the newspapers. It was funny story. It was nice last photo.

Book review 10 'The Lost Ship'

Today I read ‘The lost Ship’. This story is about a captain. There was a ship on the sea. The captain was in his cabin, and he was writing ship’s log book. He and his men were going to home but, his man told him to he saw a strange ship. Then the captain went out side for look it. Then he surely confirmed there was a strange ship near them and he shouted ‘Hello’ to that ship but no answer. So captain got into a small boat. Two men went into the boat with him. The captain looked for some people by him self but no one in there but there were food and drink. Next he saw a book and picture. But it is a photograph of him. He was very shocked and he couldn’t see anything even his men.

This story is scary.

Book Review 9 'Marco'

I read ‘Marco’ this time. A boy who lives in small village and there is very quiet. He always thinks his board life. He always works at farm with his father. They are making peaches. He is always with his father but they never become friend. One Friday afternoon, after his work, he thinks he wants to leave this farm house and he decides to go to city tomorrow. Then next early in the morning, he leaves there. He never hears noises from this village. He wants to hear noise of car or people. He thinks this is not interesting. At the station, he doesn’t have money for train so he put his hands on the fence and jumps. He arrives to the city. There are many people and markets. He is standing in front of a large cake shop and watching a big cake. Then a girl asks him to gets this cake with her and he answers. But, she runs down the street with cake so he runs after her. She never stops but she trips and falls. There is a man. He explains to a man but he does not believe him so Marco leaves there. He goes to market and he sees his peaches from his father’s farm. He wants it but a clerk doesn’t understand him. Then he meets to Carlo who is father’s friend and he has driven the lorry from the farm. Marco and Carlo talk together and he Marco tells Carlo to what happens to him. Then he leaves the city with Carlo’s car. He doesn’t like city because there are not good people. On the way to home, he smells peaches and now, he is tired.

He did't like this city, but I like.

Book Review 8 'Metal Mouth'

I read ‘Metal Mouth’ this time. A boy, Brad is not the best-looking kid in his class, he looks like bad kid, but he isn’t care about it. He thinks his life is okay. There is a girl, Emma Green who has braces on her mouth, and he feels sorry for her. One day his mother gets call from dentist and hears that he has to put on braces on his teeth, and she tells that thing to him. Then, he gets the old kind of braces the same kind as Emma Green. He isn’t happy with this and he feels sorry for there are two people have a face of metal in his class. One day when he walks home from school the lightning hit in front of him, and start weird things from next day that all of metal things sticks to his teeth for example, can of juice, fork, or magnet. One day, at school, he is drinking water from water supply and his teeth sticks again and somebody say hey to him and he turns around then it is Emma Green who has braces too. She helps him from his problem. When he is trying to say thanks, their braces stick. Then they become friend now.

I don't like this story.

Book Review 7 'MAISIE AND THE DOLPHIN'

I read ‘MAISIE AND THE DOLPHIN’ this time. This book’s picture is funny and cute. A girl, Maisie, who lives near the beach, loves dolphins. And she likes swimming and reading. One day, her father and she were at the beach. She was picking a piece of wood and her father saw a boat what was going too fast, then the boat hit a dolphin, but a parson who was driving the boat, went away. They got very angry and helped a dolphin. Her father and mother was animal doctor, so he could treat him. She could see the dolphin in a big pool, and she named the dolphin Ben. She visited Ben and he wasn’t eating but when she gave to him fishes, he ate it. She was happy. Three weeks later Ben was strong and well again, then she and Ben played games and swimming with everyday, but her grandfather told her that the dolphin was time to go the sea. Next day she said ‘Good bye’ to him and she couldn’t speak for a moment. Then, two minute later she stood up and saw Ben had got something in his mouth and it was old key. She followed him into the sea and there was a big box. Then she opened the box with a key, and she found a lot of gold coins in there. The next morning Maisie’s name was in the newspaper. Then, they build a new hospital.
This story was similar to ‘Tsu runo Ongaeshi’.

Book Review 6 'Between two world'

Today, I read ‘Between two worlds’. This story is about woman who lives and works in the Australia. She is a nurse and her boss is flying doctor so they go everywhere in her village, boss’s plane. Her phone is ringing from her patient then, they leave their office. After arrive to patient home, there are a little baby boy and he is ill very badly. And she asks to a boy’s mother that he has to go to big hospital in Sydney. But she has five children in her house she says she can’t. So, nurse is going to take him to Sydney. Next morning she arrives in Sydney with a baby for the first time. Two nurses waiting for them at airport. She goes to hospital with them and they take a boy into room. She spends all day at the hospital. The doctor invites her for dinner at his house. Then his wife cooks dinner for her. A few days later, a boy is getting better so they are going to home. But, doctor wants her in his hospital. She tries think of it next all day. But she chooses to go her home town. She doesn’t accept an unexpected job for in the big city. Then, they leave Sydney by her boss’s plane. I liked the part of her boss was waiting her with his plane when she goes back to home.

Book Review 5 'The Wish Fish'

Today I read ‘The Wish Fish’. This story is about a boy and a girl. This boy likes fish and fishing. One day he catches a fish that can gives people three wishes. The boy wishes ‘I wish to be rich’. The girl wishes ‘I wish to be richer’. The boy wishes ‘I wish to be richer still’. But the fish gets angry to them and fish doesn’t give them wishes. So, boy and girl return to normally. This book says ‘Do not be greedy’ I think. People should be sincere. Sometime or everyday, I am greedy. If I catch this fish, I maybe wish same thing with them. But, I should use head. I will wish moderately. They got a little carried away. I am sorry.

Book Review 4 'How Elephants lost their Wings'

Today I read ‘How Elephants lost their wings’.
This story is about two elephants that have wings on their back and two gods who lives in the sky. This book’s picture was so cute; Elephant’s color is pink and purple. And there are many cute houses, animals, trees, or stars. The elephants can fly everywhere whatever they want or they can walk on the ground. They can go everywhere. But, those elephants are very mischief, they smashed trees, they landed on houses. So one day, two gods invite two elephants for dinner and they have a plan that is tricks in foods or drink. But they don’t know about it so they are very happy to eat and drink. And they sleep in god’s house. Then gods takes wings from elephant’s back. Next morning, those elephant are very surprise when they are going to fly, because they can not. They lost their wings. The gods gives wings to the peacocks and the banana trees. The elephants get angry but they never flow again. I like this story and I thought maybe elephants have wings long times ago. It is interesting.

Book Review 3 'Alissa'

　Today, I read ‘Alissa’. I like this book’s picture. This book’s main character is maybe Mexican girl. She is very cute. This book story is about a girl who is twelve years old and she likes reading.
She reads books all day. One day, her father gives a lot of money to fat man and she goes with him. She doesn’t go with him but she must to with him.
She has to work at his house. His wife is mean to her. She works fifteen hour in a day. But a wife doesn’t like her so she leaves his house.
Next, she works at a clothes shop. There are five girls and they work very hard. She gets some money from master and she buys a book.
When she was reading a book, a master saw her and she asked her to work at the customer. She likes this job. One of the customers is a tall and pretty lady. She always smiles at her.
One day the pretty lady leaves her purse in the shop, and then Alissa runs out into the street with her purse and gives it to her. The pretty lady appreciates to Alissa and she thinks she is very nice and good girl. After Alissa went back to her job, her boss shouts to her because she went out. Alissa says I don’t want to work any more and I want to go to school. The pretty lady sees this and she says she is a good girl.
Finally, the pretty lady takes Alissa to her home and she let her go to school.
I like this pretty lady and Alissa. They are very kind people. I am happy for the happy end.

Book Review 2 'Photo Finish'

Today, I read ‘Photo Finish’. This book story is a woman finds a photo which from some murder.
Lisa works at Black and Sons and it is large company. Lisa has holiday next week and she is going to go to Greece with her friend Alice. Then they need to get their passport. Alice and Lisa go to post Office for it. But Lisa left her photo in her house. So she goes to a bus station for take photo. There is a photo machine. Then she goes inside and takes photo. She is waiting photo comes out and she gets photo of someone. There are two people and people’s neck is griped. She takes the picture to police. She tells their story to the police. She shows the photos to a detective. A detective tells her that she knows the man in the photos and he is a criminal and she has a plan. She is very interested.
Next day she goes to bus station again for a plan. And a man is standing by the photo booth for gets photo. He has a picture of her. He smiles at her. But soon, police catch the murderer and Lisa is safe. And now, Lisa and Alice are looking forward to their trip.

Book Review 1 'The Musicians of Bremen'

I read ‘The Musicians of Bremen’ today. I chose this book because book cover was cute. This story is four animals runaway from mean master’s house and they stay gang’s house together. These four animals are donkey, dog, cat and rooster. A mean master doesn’t give food, flicks the donkey with the whip, kicked out a cat into the rain so he was very mean. The rooster heard that the master will put him in the pot and eats him.
Then, the rooster crowed to other animals that the master said. They surprised and they said we have to run away and join the town band and they run away from them place next night. Then they found a house and they looked into the house. They saw food, drink and gang of robbers. Then they burst into the room. Those animals eject them from there. They bit, kicked or scrunched gangs. The robbers ran to friend’s house and animals ate food and slept. The gangs came back to them house and tried to catch animals but they scratched gangs and the gangs never went back to house again. Gangs thought there are witch. And animals never went back to mean master’s house and they never did become musicians. This story was interesting but I thought poor gangs and I wanted animals to become musicians. This book’s illustration was so cute and interesting because the picture was soft, gentle and the gangs had black eye mask. I liked this book.
