Letter to host family

Hello. My name is Nayu F. I am 20 years old. I am from Japan. I am part of a family　with five members. My father, yoshio is a manager of gas station and My mother, Ikuko helps his work. Their practices are going very well. I also have older brother and older sister. My brother Tomohiko is 24years old. He works at Toyota. My sister Ayami is 22years old. She goes to same college as me. My brother used to went same college.
I come from Kumamoto. Kumamoto is located in the south of Japan and located at the center of Kyusyu. There is always a lot of traffic and busy people going about, doing their job. But I love my city. There are a lit of nature and Kumamoto castle. I also live near my college. The Kumamoto castle is crowded with a lot of tourists.
When I first learned that I had this opportunity to become and exchange student to America, I did everything I could to get a slot in the program. I am really glad that see a new and very different culture. I have always been interested in the America culture and people. I hope to gain life long friendships between me and the people I would meet there, more knowledge about American culture and learn how to speak English. I would also like to share my culture with the people I would meet there.

Today I was going to go to work but I wasn’t because people want me to change the date. So I have to go to work tomorrow. So I was in home all day. I ordered CD on the internet. I am looking forward to get it.

Meeting

Today, I had a dinner with my seminar students and Mr. Satou at Italian restaurant. We gathered in front of DAIEI in dawn town and at 19:00pm we went to restaurant. We could eat as much as we want only for 2600yen or 3000yen for man. I drank four beer and I was happy for dinner. We had good time I think.
